Confirm it’s an email code
The page should clearly say it was sent by email. SMS, voice calls, and authenticator codes won’t arrive in your inbox.
Most delays come from choosing the wrong channel, entering the wrong address, or sender rate limits. Check in order—it’s faster than repeatedly clicking “Resend.”

Check the dots, numbers, and domain after @. Don’t type it from memory, and make sure there are no spaces before or after the address.
Sending queues and greylisting can cause brief delays. If the sending page shows a countdown, wait for it to finish, then resend only once.
The platform may reject disposable email domains. Don’t keep changing the spelling; use a stable email address or forwarding alias for long-term accounts.
Keep the page open and wait for it to refresh, then confirm that the temporary address hasn’t expired. After three minutes, send once more and use the newest code.
Verification codes usually expire quickly, and a new request may invalidate the old one. Open the most recent email and don’t mix codes from multiple tabs.
If an account may later need recovery, renewal, or security notifications, don’t keep relying on a short-lived inbox. A forwarding alias hides your real email while keeping you reachable over time.
If messages fail to arrive from multiple different senders, note the sending website, time, and error message, then contact support@fwdtmp.com. Never send passwords, full verification codes, or identity documents.
